Damazan Cricket Club

DCC is only 1 kilometre from the Damazan town. Take the D108 road which leads to Buzet, turn right into the Camping Du Lac site (which has a boat / floral display at entrance) and you will find our ground in a very pretty setting alongside the lake. If you are coming from the A62 Bordeaux - Toulouse motorway, leave at Junction/Sortie 6, turn right immediately, and right again onto slip road signposted Buzet. At the Stop sign turn right onto D108., after half kilometre turn right into the Camping Du Lac site.

If you want to see how cricket has adapted to the south-west of France , do please come along to watch and have a chat (in English or French ! ) have a cup of tea, perhaps even buy a raffle ticket or paperback. Matches begin at 1pm. Tea is usually taken around 3.30pm and the result known around 6.30 - If you fancy a game, so much the better!! - you can contact the club Captain Dave Matthews: dgmatthews@wanadoo.fr

The NEW MAT has been layed - and looks GREAT ! -well done to all members, and particularly John and the hardy team who spent their time to ensure the flattest base, and the fattest bellies, over the four days work.

The 20th ANNIVERSARY  of  DAMAZAN CC., (and 750th of Damazan the Town) and 20th of Accso, will be celebrated on Sunday 12th July and Tuesday 14th July, predominantly with 2 x 50 over cricket matches between the French U19's Team  v  an Aquitaine XI, and a Pyrenees XI. We are planning and hoping, that the local Mairie will agree some other joint activity to celebrate the Year.
