In these new and uncertain days succeeding the Fabled Council Wars of the past, the races of the Humans and the ½ Elf/human can finally begin to explore the many lands that have been closed off from them for such a long period of time. Little by little, more is being revealed to them than ever before and it is hoped that this may further their knowledge and expand their dominions over all possible spheres.
However, one such force that the humans and such have been unprepared for all these years was the threat of the Dreaded Diruid, as they call themselves. The Diruid are an ancient race full of malice and hatred for their destructive past and have vowed to take revenge on the Human species for what has happened to them. They are quite unknown and mysterious these Diruid, but their goals and ambitions are certain. The annihilation of the Human race is their purpose and they hope to fulfill it to the brink of perfection. This and this alone will bring them closer than ever to the power they truly seek. During the Sect Wars, a bloody and destructive series of wars that brought the Human civilization, once again, to its knees, it was not certain why the Orcs were quite successful at their war games and how they managed to overcome the Human might so simply. The last expedition ever sent out for the purpose of colonizing new worlds has never returned to this day and their where abouts remain a mystery. However, their last transmission included a weapons signature from an Orkish caliber sword and that is what sparked the Sect Wars. The association of the Orkish weapons and no trace of Human weapon signatures on the Orcs indicated that the Orcs were unharmed in the Diruid Territory for some reason. This could only mean that the Diruid were on the side of the Orcs, providing them with nearly limitless resources to ensure the swift destruction of the Human race. When the Orcs landed on the Ziggurat filled planet of the Diruid, they unlocked these ancient nightmares from their slumber and unleashed Armageddon upon the Human race. In the desperate times of the Sect Wars and the struggle of the Human race for survival, a small band of warriors appeared. These warriors did not play by the roguish rules of the sphere and were always seen wandering the planes in groups. These strange Rangers from distant lands were thought to be renegade operatives of the Orcs. However, they have proven their worth indeed.
Unleashed from their eternal prisons, the Diruid spread havoc across the Human worlds and once again, the Human race was to come to that same battlefield in order to fight for their existence. As the battle raged on and the Diruid were sure of their victory, that same small group of rangers rode in atop strange beasts and ripped through the Orkish lines. Finally, they reached the very pedestal of the Diruid command. Slash by slash and with each swipe of their sword, they reduced the Diruid to nothingness. They spread far and wide ensuring the destruction of this ancient malice. Who were these bands and were had they come from? Their origin lies with that of the Diruid themselves. These Rangers were entrusted with the duty of ensuring that the Diruid never escape and threaten the world ever again. Their signs were apparent all over the spheres, but their existance was thought to be a myth. Their nature remained unknown until recentley. The called themselves the Mejia-Toa, Guardians of the Diruid world and defenders of the Ziggurat of Harames. They were honored for their valiance and bravery in all the Human worlds. However, with their great power and strength cam a “catch”, if one can say so.
As the Diruid began to die out, so did the purpose of the Mejia-Toa. Their powers dwindled until they became weak and unable to combat the threats to the Human realms. The elder Mejia-Toa sought to preserve their strength and so searched far and wide for a valiant group and a new generation to carry on their noble cause. This new band of warriors would become the guardians of the world against the return of the Diruid and would safe guard the human race against any possible threats. They will rise up and, together, crush the might of their foes and break all unthinkable odds. This force would carry the responsibility of maintaining the Honorable name of the Mejia-Toa and spreading the virtues of brotherhood, kindness, generosity, teamwork, and self sacrifice for others no matter the reason.
