Our Good Lookin' Family!
"God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land."  Psalm 68:6

Here is Ben, doing chores on a lovely spring morning. He was feeding the dogs, when Legacy came to visit, and Ben went to give him a scratch. You will notice, of course, that Ben is doing his morning chores as Batman. Well, at least he is not out in boxers

Ben on the day he lost his first tooth.
Later that night he asked Jesus to be his Saviour.

Taylor holding Kissin' Kate, Meta's little doe. He loves the babies!

Doesn't Tori look like a princess with her colt, Kito? I love this picture!

This is Doug with Taylor's colt, Cade. Doug has been working with the horses alot. He brought both colts in turn up to the back deck on this snowy January day to show them all tacked up for practice! Obviously they are too young to ride, but we figure the sooner they get used to the saddle, the better!

This is Taylor Feb. 2 this year. he was out in the barn with me doing evening chores. You can tell it's dark, but my sweetie pie husband put electricity ou there for me!
Isn't Taylor the handsome "dude" with his western clothes? He's turning into a rancher all right!

Here is Tori, the same evening, baking peanutbutter cookies for us while we are out doing the chores. What a girl!

This is Tay on the same evening in the barn. We thought you would like to see the barncats.

Itty and Bitty Kitty. They are already catching mice.  They were abandoned at an elderly neighbor's house, and he asked us to take them home. We put them in the tack room until they were big enough to not be tortured by the chickens. They were about 6 weeks old. They are so big because they have grown fat on rich, fresh goat milk every night!

                                          Here's Ben
                                          CUTIE PIE!

Here is Doug and Ben this past late fall riding Sonnet.
Besides Taylor, these are the two best lookin' guys around!

My Aunt Sharon and I in Texas. She is one of the cutest women!

This is Tori, my cousin Ryan, and me holding Ben. This was in 2002 while visiting my family in Denver. We were at Darby and Ali's house. We learned much about the art of hospitality, as Ali is the most welcoming woman I have ever met! She is married to my cousin Darby. They have two adorable children.

                                  Doug humoring Ben.
When Ben was a toddler, he went through a period of time when he wore goggles almost all the time. He looked very interesting sitting at the dinner table with goggles. What a guy won't do for his son!

Taylor, our great hunter! I wish I could  turn this picture around, but I'm not figuring it out...so oh well!

Taylor riding Sonnet bareback with his "tunic" on. He is a Knight in the making! Only virtuous maidens will ever get the honor of marrying our sons!

Tori sewing a lap quilt. She is on her way to a Proverbs 31 career of being a wife, mamma, and homekeeper. Her father says no man will ever be good enough for her. She's praying for a godly knight, able to win her father over! (the dragon!)

Homeschooling and a family & home centered life keeps the children inncoent. Our little sweetie on vacation, after visiting the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. How many girls do you know these days who are still untainted by hollywood, commercialism, and peer pressure, that they go around in public like a Prairie Muffin?! I wish I had been!
