Anatomy Help!
I finally stopped being lazy enough to make this! xD;
Anatomy is hard to get the hang of. No-one starts out good at it so don't be worried if you can't do it well at first. :D
NOTE: I've only been oekaking for almost a year so if my anatomy tutorial doesn't explain much or you don't think it helps there are plenty of other anatomy tutorial sites you can go to. This only covers the basics so if you already know this stuff then there isn't much point reading it again. :P THIS IS ONLY ANIMAL ANATOMY.
Guidelines

Guidelines tell you where the eyes and nose will go. Where the two lines cross, the nose (or muzzle) will start. The eyes will rest on the horizontal line. If you're already confident in your face anatomy, you can just draw a circle or even no circle at all. :3
Muzzles

For dogs, wolves and a bit smaller for cats, muzzles are very helpful in making your picture look more 3D and efficient. Muzzles are usually more slanted than this one, try to make it mroe diagonal. The numbers are what you draw in order, from 1-5. It takes a while to get the hang of (it certainly took me a while!) but you'll get there eventually.
Eye positions

This shows where the eyes would go on your muzzle or nose. The eye furthest away from you should be smaller.
Hackles

Normally used for dogs or other canines. Hackles are the bits of fur you see sticking up from the back of the animal. If you draw cheek fur, it shouldn't really be on the end of a face, but inwards a bit (like on the picture). Hackles are optional and mainly depend on style. :3
Legs

The picture will exlain alot better than I can. xD Just copy the picture if you want. You may develop your own style for legs if you wish after practicing with this style. Legs are not just straight like it shows in the crossed out part of my picture. And the legs get narrower towards the paws.
Paws

Ahh paws. One of my favourite parts of drawing. <3 Some people find this hard so I hope it helps you a little. :3 You may copy the way I've done these before deloping your own style, if you'd like.
Hind legs

Hind legs must be smooth and not too stiff, otherwise your picture will not look right. For basic standing poses, this would be the way to go. They go inwards alot before getting onto the paw and are also quite bent.
I hope this helped you at all! I'll be updating this if I get better over time so keep checking back for updates! :)
