26th March 2004 - General Update
|
Just a general news update to let you all know the MOD is still alive, albeit with a skeleton team. Hopefully if we get a few playable levels out there (sort of like a demo) that will entice more people to join and speed up development. Anyway no major media for you but hopefully i will be able to release a lot of media and a rough demo by the end of march or mid april. The music for the MOD is coming along nicely with the original theme (by Tony Hallsworth) almost complete, you can expect to be able to download that soon. The first 2 levels are almost completely playable for the game with production of the ice moon level 2 weeks into production. Anyway stay tuned for more updates soon. Anyway if you need to contact me then you can at hallsworthdannyt@ukonline.co.uk

7th February 2004 - Alpha 0.3 Release
|
With the release of internal alpha 0.3 iminent I thought a small update was needed. Progress is extremely promising with the only niggle being better custom textures and ingame MP3 music. An important note however is the Alpha is password protected which only team members will have, and levels will need to be accessed via the console as they are still in production essentially. However i have some screens of the grange station for you with the new weapon shown:-

January 15th - Getting There
|
Hey guys just another text update. Im really pleased with the progress of the MOD so far. The internal alpha is shaping up nicley and im sure the team members will find it useful. Theres even a new weapon in their too (expect screens of it this wknd). The intro level is almost their, its just the time consuming things like cutscenes and little details like flashing lights and rain that take a little tweaking to look right. The grange station is coming along nicely to and if executed in the right way the grange station part of the game could provide an hour of gameplay alone. Anyway some things to look forward to this wknd>
* Intro level preliminary test .BSP (team only)
* Theme tune MP3 choices that need to be voted on
* More screens of grange and intro level
Later guys |
