Dare to Dream Farm

10/03/08

Fall is here which means winter is around the corner. Show season has slowed down while finals are going on. So far the show season was a good season and the winter circuit should be a blast this year again. Lily will be showing in the Baby Greens and 2'6" equitation until sold or we may breed her next year. Nasser will show on the flat until he is ready for the Baby Greens. Pogo will be showing in jumpers up to Level 1.

Nasser and Pogo have been showing at the Northampton Hunter/Jumper Show all week. Nasser showed in Beginner Hunter and Hunter Pleasure. He did 4 over fences classes and rode them beautifully but didn't place. He placed 6th in his Beginner Hunter U/S out of 15. He placed 1st, 2nd, two 3rds, 5th and 8th in his Hunter Pleasure division and was close to being reserve champion. We were told that he was the best mover in the classes by one of the judges who at the time wasn't judging that ring. Pogo only showed in the Pony Jumpers placing tree 2nds and 3rd.

Nasser and Pogo also went to the Westfield Fair games day. Nasser showed in the Walk/Trot division and won all his classes and came home with Champion. Pogo showed in the Open division and came home with Reserve Champion. Danielle and Amber used Pogo in the Pick Up Race and placed 3rd.
