Hi and welcome to my website! My name is Nick Bond and I am from Surrey, England. This website takes you through my six months of birding in Cyprus in 2005 and 2006. There is plenty to see throughout the year, so read-on and enjoy. I was be based in Paralimni and all birdwatching took place on the Greek side of the island.

My diary pages will keep you up-to-date with my sightings on this sun-drenched island, where migration is exciting in spring and autumn, where every birding day is different. Before I left for Cyprus last year I found it hard to obtain site information and when and where to see birds. A lot of the information I did gather was either out-of-date or mainly trip reports from the Paphos region. I am sure there will be many other sites to be discovered in 2006.
Please check out the 'Birds of Cyprus' page as this has some good photo's taken in 2005 by my uncle Gary Messenbird, with some taken by myself, there will be plenty more images added as this year goes on.
Any comments about this site please leave a comment in my guestbook!
