* Hi i'm christina and i love yorkies they are absolutely beautiful little dogs ! welcome to the webbie C & S Yorkies i've put together for pics.& info of my yorkies ! C&S stands for Christina & Savanah! We live in ozark alabama. I currently work at the local vets office , my husband works for afs at the local army base fort rucker.We live on a prvt. dirt road off of hwy 231 everyone who lives on this road is family (hubby's) in a huge 5bd room 4bt. house my hubby built from the ground up by himself! It took many years to accomplish . We have about an 3 acres for my little dogs to run and play on but only have part of the backyard fenced in for now. I would LOVE to some day add another female yorkie (akc) to the family or possibly a chocolate baby i have yet to make up my mind! yorkies need to be supervised and kept track of as they are small dogs many things can go wrong! they are loaded with energy and can play ALL day! yorkies are a high maintence dog/pet as far as grooming goes but for everything else they aren't! I brush my yorkies out daily and groom them bath & all weekly they don't really like it so much but it's a ness. to keep them looking nice with their long coats. Please make sure you have plenty of time, energy and patience to dedicate to the grooming before you get a yorkie! These dogs aren't outside or yard dogs they should be inside pets of course they LOVE to go out and play but shouldn't be just left alone to fend for themselves at all! I guess basically my point is they are great home /family pets that need ,want and deserve love & attention just like a small child, they should be a part of a family where they can be loved spoiled and treated as such! Last but not least it's VERY important to keep your pets up to date on ALL vaccinations and a really good idea to use heartworm and flea preventitive ..some may think it's costly but no where near as what could happen to them if you do not keep up with the basic routine maintence for a pet! They depend on us !
