****NOTE: Religion in New Worlds is NOT based on any real life religions. Druids are NOT Wiccan. The wonderful hosting service at Freewebs uses a keyword system to put ads of interest at the top of the screen. By default the ads are Wicca related because of the content of this site. However, DRUIDS are NOT WICCAN in our roleplaying world.***

Her midnight hair is pulled back into an intricate braid, woven with ribbons
in
varying shades of the forest. Tiny wildflowers peek playfully from within
the
dark tresses. Faint starry markings surround enchanting sapphire eyes
that
shimmer with emotion; soft romance shifts to stormy passion or spirited
anger
in the space of a heartbeat. Natural elven grace gives her movements
a subtly
provocative quality.
She has deep ebony hair pulled into an elaborate braid adorned with ribbons
and
flowers.
She has sapphire eyes that shine with emotion.
She has a bright blue lizard drawn in detail, perched upon her left
hand
with it's tail entwined in a braided band of vines that wraps around the
wrist.
She has a wreath of multicolored wildflowers entwined with herbs that
snake through a graveyard scene of headstones encircling her navel.
A small
raven peers out from behind one stone.
Cynna kneels, placing her palms flat
upon the ground. She begins
to chant softly in a melodious voice and
her eyes take on a
faraway look as she concentrates deeply, her energy
focused
on something unseen by those around her. Her fingers sink into
the earth as if she seeks to draw it's power into her body, and a
slightbreeze stirs in the air around her as she directs the healing
energy outward again.
Cynna
smiles warmly at you as she rises, saying, "Forgive
me ,there was someone in need. Welcome to the Circle
of
the Ancients, the Druid holy place. Please take a
look
around. I am Cynna, High Elder Priestess of the Druids.
All
are welcome here."

Circle of the Ancients
As you step along the path through the bushes you suddenly find yourself
in a grove, surrounded by stone pillars forming a sacred circle. Moving forward
into the circle you become aware of an incredible energy flowing gently
through you. You are overcome by a sense of peace - it feels as if, for a
moment, all is
still and in perfect balance.
Off through some bushes to the
west is a meditation glade and a holy glade of
worship leads through
a shimmering green veil of energy to the east.
You notice that the circle
contains four larger stones, at quarters, marked
with decorated stakes. In
the centre of the circle is a cauldron with various
items placed around it. Next
to the cauldron is an Altar.
