Giving Shaped Images a Border
I know some people thought you could only do this with Adobe Photoshop. Big
news though. You can give images a border using PSP! Here is how:
Step1: Open a new image. I am using this one the space faerie background from neopets. Click on the selection icon on your toolbar and select what shape you would like to cut your image to. Drag your selection tool on the image until it is at a desired size. With part of the image selected, copy (ctrl c) your selection.
Step 2: Open a new image size of about 500 pixels by 500 pixels. Paste your
image as a new selection. After you do that, the selection should have a moving
dashed line around it like so:
Here is the good part. Go to Selections>>Modify>>Expand and expand the
selection by about 3. Now take your paint bucket and select the color that you
want your border to be. I am using black. Now fill the selection. It should look
like this:

Step 4: Take your image that you are using and do paste as new selection once
more. Then align the image in the colored selection so that it appears that you
have a border like so:

AND YOU ARE DONE! Congrats!
