Strife's MIDI Music Gallery

Welcome to my music gallery. I've decided to showcase some of my best songs on this page, for those who are interested in listening to my style of composing. Many of my songs have a space-age or cosmic feel to them, although there are some exceptions. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy listening to them. ^_^

IMPORTANT :: This is a gallery, so the songs here are for listening only. You cannot use them for your own web pages or applications without my permission.

NameDescription
Admiral This is one of my earliest songs, which has gotten some tweaks and improvements over time. It's supposed to be a theme for some kind of airport or spaceport.
Asteroid Silo A somewhat dark tune that depicts the shadowy surface of a moon (or very large asteroid).
Bot Mechanic A video game-ish song, with layered lead instruments taking up the melody. It's not my favorite creation, but it isn't too shabby either.
Bugeye An early composition of mine. There were originally a lot of lead instruments, but I decided to replace them to give it a deeper feel, suitable for a volcano/cave theme.
Cloud 9 Jam One of my absolute favorites! =D I really like how the guitars came out in here, and they blend nicely with the string instruments in certain sections of the song. It has a lot of different sections though, so I believe I could stretch it out to some degree.
Dreamstream In my opinion, this is one of the best songs i've ever composed. The melody and strings give it a deep, emotional feeling. When I listen to this, I imagine floating gently along a river while gazing at the starry night sky.
Gr33nz0rz I couldn't quite think of a name for this, so I settled for something random. xD Anyway, this a nice, happy tune that places heavy emphasis on the bass instruments.
Invasion This song was heavily inspired by a MIDI that came with my Multimedia Fusion CD. It portrays some kind of tense, perilous situation (such as an alien invasion, hence the title xP).
Plasma A short, repetitive ditty. It's pretty catchy though and suitable for a short intermission or menu.
Slash and Burn One of the my most complex songs. It starts out cheerful and upbeat, but halfway through the song, it picks up in speed and takes on a more desperate tone.
Star Jumper Though a bit short, I do like the way this song came out. It has a nice, spacey feel to it (to my ears at least :P).
The Works Intended to be the theme for some kind of factory. It has a nice rhythm to it, but i'm not sure I like the overall structure of the song.
