Prenatal Support
During this precious time, I will meet with you 2 times. During the first meeting, I will get a feel for what you're seeking in a doula, what your goals are, how you invision your childs birth playing out, and any concerns you may have.

At the second meeting, we will try out different positions for laboring, and finalize your birthplan. You will also receive a binder, filled with wonderful information and resources.

 Labor Support
As your doula, my job is to make sure i'm available to you whenever labor starts. As i'm sure you know, babies come when they want to, not when it's convenient. Because of this, I will be available to you 24 hours a day (via phone) beginning 2 weeks prior to your estimated delivery date, until labor starts. Of course, if you go into labor early, you'll need to call me so I can meet you wherever it is you may be delivering.

During labor, I will assist you with natural pain management through counter pressure, meditation, massage, and/or whatever options you prefer. My goal is to make sure you are as happy and comfortable as possible. There are a wide variety of medical pain management options available to you as well. I will make sure that you know about these options as well as their risks, so you can make an informed decision.

I will also assist you communicating with faculty staff, as well as other members of your birthing team. I will do whatever it takes to make sure that you're comfortable, feel safe and are kept well informed of all options that are available to you.

Post Partum Support
I will be available to you for 2 post partum visits. During these visits I will come to your home, help you with breastfeeding, diaper changes, baby bathing, and offer you friendly support.

Phone/Email Support
Phone support is available Monday – Friday, from 9:00am until 8:00pm.
                                       Saturday - Sunday from 10:00am until 6:00pm

Email support is available to you at anytime. As soon as I receive your email, I will write you back. Please understand that I am not at my desk 24/7 as I have other obligations as well. I can usually get back to you very quickly though as long as it's not the middle of the night.

Please limit after hours calls to urgent matters, but do not hesitate to call if you think you are in labor.
