Well the first thing in making a layout is a template, or something to get you off to a start. A good template to use might be the one shown below:

Next, you have to know what image you are going to put in the layout. The big
box. You can use any image you wish. In the smaller boxes, you want to put
simple words at the top left hand corner of each box. When your done, the layout
should look something like this:
You must save the layout as .gif when you are done. Programs like Animation
Shop 3 and Paint Shop Pro 7 and 8 have the feature of being able to save as
.gif.
Coding Layout:
Copy the code under the image. Where it says top:0; When you enter a high
number it will bring it lower. IF you enter a low number it will bring it
higher. Don't enter a number like 1074 or you won't even see the text! enter any
number from 0-900 depending on how big your layout is. For the coding of left:0;
its similar except it goes from left to right. Again don't ente ra number over
900 or you might have to scroll over to the other side of the screen to see it.
You have to experiment to get it in the right place. For height and width, just
enter the size of the box. You may have to make it smaller than the acual size.
