Taming and Handling your Guinea pig(s)
Guinea pigs are one of the easiest rodents to Tame and Handle. They do need time to tame though, and if you've just got the guinea pig(s) I'd tame it/them and just stroke it/them before handling it/them. The way I tamed my Guinea pigs was to put them both on
the same cusion on my lap (if you have two Guinea pigs or more its good to put them in twos or three's on the same cusion so they can get used to being with each other aswell, and if you have one Guinea pig then just have the one) and keep on stroking them. Do this atleast twice a day. And gradually your Guinea pig(s) should be used to you, so now you can go onto the Handling. To handle a Guinea pig you need to make sure you use both hands. So you put one hand under the stomach and the other at the bottom of the body supporting the rest on the weight as shown in the picture.
