How many Guinea pigs should i get?
If you get a guinea pig or two, you need to be prepared to look after them/it properly. I recommend if your thinking of getting a guinea pig then i'd get two or more. Although they've got you, they can still get lonely. At night when there in there hutch they have no one to snuggle up to, or if you go out and there on there own. So thats why i think getting two or more guinea pigs is best! Also If you get more then 3 guinea pigs I'd have 2-3 in each hutch, but don't have 1 left on its own in a hutch (eg. 3 in one hutch and then 1 in another hutch, don't do that, have 2 in one and then 2 in the other).
What sex should i get?
Well i have two males because i don't want to breed guinea pigs. So what i recommend is if you don't want to breed guinea pigs i'd get just females or just males, but if you don't mind then it doesn't really matter and if you want to breed guinea pigs then you can get a male and female.
How do my Guinea pigs exercise?
Well a good idea to give your guinea pigs exercise is to buy a run. A run is like a hutch but it has no bottom to it or some have a net on the bottom and when you put the run on the grass and put the guinea pigs in it it allows them to eat and run around on the grass.
My Guinea pig is acting strange, What should I do?
Well I'm afraid I can't help you specificaly, because I don't know how your guinea pig is acting exactly, but If your guinea pig really isn't acting right, I would take action and not leave it too long. I would take it to the vets and they should be able to tell you whats wrong and if needed they will give you medicine or something to treat the illness or infection.
How long do Guinea pigs live?
Guinea pigs live roughly 4-7 years of age.
