I adoped Maile from a breeder when she was just a tiney little puppy. She was so cute and small! I fell in love with her ti minute I got to hold her! Shes growen up in our nice little home and is totally spoiled to the bone! One day, my mom let her out while I was at school. My mom thought everything was fine, and that Maile was just sniffing around for a place to pee. A few minutes later, our neibor came knocking at the door with Maile in her arms, bleeding. Our neirboor said that Maile had been walkng in the street when a drunk man in a white pick up truck came flying down our street. Luckly, the truck just scraped her across the face. My mom rushed her to the vet as soon as she could. We left her there over night. I was so shocked and scaird! The next day, we came back and the vet said that her right eye had been scrached and that she would be permently blind in that eye. Other than that, Maile was fine. She is totally fine now and is back to her normal self. My family and friends joke around about how shes a "cyclops" or "one-eyed". This is how she earned her nick name "My the Cy"! (my=maile cy=cyclops)
