Curly Tail Farm is a small southern Vermont Homestead.
We raise Chickens, Rabbits, free range Eggs, Cattle and pigs for our own use. Along with a very large garden which we preserve for future use.
We believe in Christian family values, Home school our children and encourage others in this life style.
Our animals are not given any medicated feed or growth hormones and are raised in a kind loving manner. Pigs are pastured and chickens are allowed to range freely on pasture about the yard. Rabbits are given greens from the yard and garden to supplement their diet. This method of raising livestock gives the highest quality meat possible.
We strongly believe that buying from your local farm or raising your own is the best way to a safe, sustainable and affordable food supply.
Farmers feeding people closest to them is an age old system that proved effective for hundreds of years. Unlike centralized farming, chances are you will know who is raising your food and how. Buying local also supports your local economy and keeps your food dollars close to home where it does the most good.
