Warranty

*Each Curbedstuff computer comes with a 30-day replace or repair warranty based on product availability.

What your warranty covers:

·                      All physical parts of the computer are warrantied against defect for 30 days from the date of purchase.

·                      All original programming to be free of defect and properly installed.

Examples:

1. You get the computer home, turn it on and your computer screen says "disk not found."

2. If the CD-rom, floppy drive, or burner will not read.

 

What your warranty does not cover:

·                      Operator error: includes opening the computer case, deleting originally installed files, operator-installed file conflicts, worms, viruses, spyware, adware, or any other aggressive programming that could damage original files or equipment.

·                      Damage to hardware or software caused by non-Curbedstuff Computers equipment.

·                      Damage caused by improper ventillation.

·                      Damage caused by power surges or acts of God.

·                      Monitors, mice, keyboards or speakers.

·                     Shipping for warrantied repairs is at owner's expense.

Examples:

1. You open the case to upgrade RAM before the 30-day warranty expires. Congratulations, you have voided your warranty!

2. You are surfing the web and accidently download a worm that eats your harddrive. Sorry, you're not covered.

**Curbedstuff Computers sells only used, refurbished computers. Buyer understands that the computer he/she is purchasing is used. Due to the nature of refurbishing, expecting a computer to perform as though it were factory purchased is unreasonable. We do our very best to assure the quality of our machines. We test each element of every computer and do occassionally get false positives. In such a case, the element is replaced. If you have a warrantied problem, your warranty period begins anew from the time that your repaired computer is returned to you.

Labor Charges

·                      Warrantied Repairs & Customer Service: FREE

·                      Unwarrantied Repairs:

                        - In-shop: $45/hr + the cost of parts.

                        - Housecall: $65/hr + the cost of parts.
