Our Fire department is located in Cumbola, Pennsylvania, (Schuylkill County.) We are District 2, Station 2, in Blythe Township. Currently, we have 10 active members. We are led in service by our Fire Chief John Peletsky, our Assistant Chief is Brian Mull, our Lieutenant is Matthew Mull, our Foreman is Ed Stillwagner Jr. and our Chief Engineer is Rick Stone. We strive to do the best we can for our community. We currently have 5 members DOH certified for basic vehicle and we just put Genesis Rescue Tools on our engine. We are going to be a full service fire/rescue in our community.
We have a "Black" Sutphen S2 Rescue style pumper high side compartments on both sides, 1500 GPM pump, 1000 gallons of water, 6 man raised roof cab. Roll up doors, LED lighting. It has a 9000 pound winch with 2 point reciever on the front and rear for rescue operations. It was delivered on September 9th 2007.
