Directions:

The easiest way to get more complete directions from your area would be to go to www.mapquest.com amd put in your start location and your end destination. Here are some basic directions from the nearest major routes.

From I-95 North or South:

Take Exit 69 to CT-9 North. Follow directions below from CT-9 to Hall from there.

 

From Hartford:

Take I-91 South toward NEW HAVEN / N. Y. CITY. Merge onto CT-9 S via EXIT 22S on the LEFT toward MIDDLETOWN / OLD SAYBROOK. Follow directions below from CT-9 to Hall from there.

 

CT-9 to Grange Hall:

Take Exit 7
Route 82 to stop sign
Turn left on Route 154/82
Turn right on Route 82 (light)
Go across the Swing Bridge (follow road around left bend toward fork in road)
Veer right at fork in the road (Rt. 82) About 1 mile.

Turn left onto Town St (Route 151) Go 1 mile.
On the right, White Building set back from road, dirt parking lot.

 

From I-395 South:

Take the CT-82 exit- EXIT 80- toward DOWNTOWN NORWICH/SALEMKeep RIGHT at the fork to go on SALEM TURNPIKE/CT-82. Continue to follow CT-82. You will drive quite a ways, maybe 20 miles. (It's a nice country road to drive).

When you come into Hadlyme (a 4 corners with a Deli store and USPS office in sight) make sure you turn RIGHT to STAY on Route 82. (Do NOT go straight towards the Ferry!!!)

Stay straight onto Town St (Route 151) Go 1 mile. On the right, White Building set back from road, dirt parking lot.

If you'd like to Mapquest directions from 395, type in Hadlyme as a middle stop. It'll bring you down Route 82, You'll see where it takes you up to the Ferry and back again. Just skip that part!!

Route 2: Unless you are very good with directions avoid the Route 2, to (Route 16, Route 149 or Route 196), it can be confusing!
