Known as "The Nameless" Weyr when the two groups of dragonriders came forward in time, this Weyr was abandoned for Turns countless. No one could remember when it was inhabited.
However, within a few Turns there was activity and the sweep riders began to report seeing folk and even dragons there. It seemed that those dragons who were Weyrless had decided to claim the Nameless Weyr for their own. Indeed, by the time their presence was known, there were at least three, possibly more, dragonriders residing here.
They renamed the Weyr "Crashing Seas Weyr", and have begun a small community of their own. Though those who live here are varied, all or almost all of them seem to have something in common - the Syndicate has done them some great injury.
