THINKING TIME!

This read is not easy, but truly worthwhile. I am a fan of Christian fiction. Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti- there's an emerging genius in Pell City. The story being written in the style of another age, like poetry, causes the brain to pay attention with increased awareness. Since the pith of the story moves sinners away from their intended , natural comfort zone, the writing style serves truly well. The message I get encourages thinking and hope. Harmon should continue writing, I like that he is clear about an ultimate end, there aren't contradictions which is gratifying when following a puzzle. In the words of the late Ayn Rand: 'there are no contradictions, examine your premises.

A really good book

Casey has been able to bring this story to us in such a way you will find yourself in one of the characters. Your weaknesses, your strengths. The things you love and hate will be brought to your mind. But most of all you will come away charged up and ready to step out in faith and know that to fulfill the prophesy of the bible we need to walk in faith, not fear. This book is not for just one select group. All people from all walks of life will enjoy this book.

A great debut from a talented author, February 25, 2007

Harmon has weaved an interesting tale here, strong for a self-published effort. This is a literary tale reminiscent of H.G. Wells, C.S. Lewis or Isaac Asimov at times. As such, plenty of attention is given to surroundings, character motivation and thought. This is not the break-neck pace of authors like Dean Koontz or Ted Dekker. It's more like settling into a world and allowing yourself to be pulled along in its flow. As such the modern audience for this story may be a little limited, but those who take the time to read the story will enjoy it. Fans of the classics especially will find a lot to love about this story.

Harmon shows a lot of promise, particularly considering his age. I have no doubt his next books will make an even stronger impact and increase his audience.

Let me start by saying, that if you haven't read this book, you really should!!
It was a beautiful story about the end of times and the final battle of good and evil.

One of the biggest surprises of this book was the language that was used. First, it is hard to find a book written in our time that uses such beautiful language. Second, if you have ever talked to C.S. Harmon, you know he is a southern boy with a thick accent, so it was hard to believe that this language came from him!

There are so many mysteries in this book, that I cannot wait to read it again and solve some of them. Like a faithful author C.S. Harmon will not divulge any of the secrets and has asked me to read it again!!

Also there is a topic of controversy... I cannot reveal it here... and Casey and I have discussed the topic. I told him that I wasn't sure which side of the fence I was on, but as he believes and so do I, anything is possible!!!

I encourage you all to go out and purchase this amazing story and be touched by God and the story within.
