C. S. Dailey

Hello,

     My name is Conner Dailey. I recently finished my 6th grade year at Turkeyfoot Middle School and look forward to another great year as a 7th grader. I also enjoy listening to music as well as playing it. My favorite band is the Beatles, and I play the guitar.

     I became interested in art at a very young age. My father is a good artist, but only draws for fun. Watching him, I became fascinated and wanted nothing more than to draw like him.

     Soon enough, I was enrolled in art classes and fine tuning my drawing skills. Not long after I began entering local art contests, and I actually won! It shocked me how positively people were responding to my art.

     I fell in love with art. I kept at my art classes and excelled in art at school. I began winning more and more contests. I found something that I was good at and that I truely loved to do.

     I know that I wouldn't be where I am today if it hadn't been for my art teachers. They pushed me and tested my skills. Without them I would not have been able to achieve all that I have. So I just want to say thank you!
