| Instructions: | |||
| 1. First open up Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Then start of with the image you want to do the effect on. I'm going to use this one: | |||
| 2. Then make a duplicate of that image by Ctrl+J or going to Layers >> Duplicate Layer... then click OK. Like this: | |||
| 3. Then add pixels by going to Filter >> Pixelate >> Mosaic...Like this: | |||
| 4. A window will open, choose a Cell Size to whatever you want. I have no tips on which Cell Size is best. So it's best to try different numbers until you get the size you want. For this image I used a Cell Size of 10. | |||
| 5. Now set your new Layer's Blending Mode in layers palette to Overlay. (tip- You can also experiment with other Layer Blend Modes.) | |||
| 6. Lastly you should Flatten the image. | |||
7. That is it. You have now made a Pixel Image Effect.

| Tip*-. You can make it better by adding a few brush patterns and other effects and layers.. |
