Crusaders Dance Super Camp

 

Dance Station, Alexandra Park, Fishponds, Bristol

 

Wednesday 26th August 2009

Thursday 27th August 2009

 

We will group you in ages 6 – 9, 10 – 12, 13 – 15 and 16+ so you will train with people of a similar age and ability.

 

Dancers can dance on a Marley dance floor with full mirrors and barres.

 

10am – 4pm - £20 per day

Bring a packed lunch with you and lots to drink.

 

Classes in a huge range of genres Musical Theatre, Street Dance, Hip – Hop, Stretch and Limber, Barre, Jazz, Leaps and Turns, Lyrical, Cheerleading and Tumbling. Come and improve all your skills improve co – ordination and fitness and have fun making new friends over the summer.

 

Classes are open to anyone from any dance team or school, just enjoy dancing or want to improve your skills for a Try – out. Our world renound teachers are here to help you achieve your goals we welcome everyone. Please wear suitable clothing for dance.

 

Places are very limited and are booked on a first come first served basis. To register please fill out the paperwork below and return with a cheque made payable to Crusaders Cheerleaders at the following address – 23 York Close, Stoke Gifford, Bristol, BS34 8NU.

PARENTAL CONSENT: If under 18

I authorise the Coach or squad officials to seek treatment for any injury occurred by my child whilst at the dance camp and also authorise the Doctor and / or Hospital nearby to perform any treatment. I understand that once informed of any incident

It is my responsibility to go to the Hospital as soon as possible. I understand that sometimes accidents may happen and will not hold the Coaches or club responsible.

 

I have read the above and understand the risk of vigorous activity. My child is in good health and perfectly capable of attending and gfully partivcipating in the dance camp. I have read the constitution and agree to all of its contents.

Parent will be allowed to wait in the waiting area for their child however is not permitted in the studios whilst classes are running.

 

 

 

 

How to find us

From the city: Approximately 3 miles from the city centre taking the A432. Second turning on the left after Lodge Causeway (B4048)

From the M32: Leave the motorway at junction 2. Take the first exit from the underpass roundabout up the hill with Eastville Park on your left. Turn left at the junction at the top of Muller Road and travel approximately 1 mile until you see the DHSS offices. This is a 6 storey building with a pedestrian crossing outside. Alexandra Park is the first turning on the left after the crossing.

By Bus: The Nos 48 and 49 run from the City Centre. Bus stop is just past Alexandra Park, near Channons Hill.

By Train: From Bristol Parkway take a taxi or a 581 bus (runs hourly). From Bristol Temple Meads take a taxi or No 8 bus to City Centre and then 48 or 49 bus.

Details of Crusaders Try - Outs 2009/2010 - For Competative Cheer Teams

This year we are offering two Try - out dates everyone must attend at least one to make a team. Cost is £5 for one Try - Out or attend both for £8

Sunday 26th July and Sunday 30th August 2009

Classes start Sunday 6th September 2009 along with Parents Meetings at 5.30pm and 7pm ( Every Parent must attend one) 

Location - Fromeside Gymnastics Centre, Watleys End Road, Winterbourne, Bristol

Ages 5 - 9 - Time 5 - 6pm

Ages 10 - 12 - Time 6 - 7pm

Ages 13 - 15 - Time 7 - 8pm

Ages 16 + - Time 8 - 9pm

Please Try - Out as of age on 30th August 2010

Big Thank You to all the Mums and Dads that helped out at The Easter Compton Carnival today it wouldnt of been so successful without you. Extra special Thank You goes to Martin Hunt for sorting out the tumble trak for us. We managed to raise £200 from our performance and the cake stand, which will go towards the extra tickets we needed to buy for Brighton.  Extra credits go to those that brought cakes and attended.

Credentials will be held in Bristol for levels 1 - 5 stunts, tumbling and tosses.

Cost for the gym to enter you is £25 per person which we will pay and then £10 per skill per level which you would need to fund yourself.

Crusaders Cheerleaders
   

The Crusaders Cheerleading Squad was set up in 2002 by founder and Head Coach Rebekah Parker. The aim is to create all-star cheerleaders in Bristol. Crusaders are members of 'The British Cheerleading association'. Crusaders aim to promote cheerleading throughout the community. Crusaders Cheerleaders can Tumble, Dance, Cheer, Stunt, Dismount, Jump and ultimately motivate a Sports Crowd. Cheerleaders age from 6 - 25 Male and Female. Crusaders Cheerleaders take part in fund raising and charity events as well as British and International Cheerleading Competitions.
