CR Spartans originated itself in the middle of 2007 when three of Costa Ricas' strongest teams (CR Assault, Dragones and Rage Effect) fell apart, and the talent of the three fused together to create this powerful super team. After a strong team was finally built under its name, the constant struggle of Costa Rican Paintball Association fell apart and further causing the roster to calm down and see some players move away from the sport. After a hard struggle to gain control in 2008 of becoming the #1 team in Costa Rica, the team slowly went back to its old habits and with a departure of a player and the lack of tournaments. The team is being re-constructed from the ground up, with a new attitude and a goal of winning the CAPPL CR '09 against a tough round up of new teams, getting ready to take 1st place. So here is the 2009 website for CR Spartans, have fun, live well and shoot paint.
