Iain MacDonald
Cub leader and Assistant Scout leader
Acting Group Scout Leader
Cub name:Akela
At Scout Camp i am known as Mac Teabag
I have been involved in scouting for 28 years as a scout and now as a leader.
Funny story about myself: Too numerous to mention
What do i enjoy about scouting: The fun trust and friendship. Former cubs and scouts returning to the Group as young leaders, securing the future of the cubs and scouts.
Anything else we should know: Inverness Area Gang Show Convener and assistant producer also member of cast.
Peter White
Cubs, Assistant Scout leader and Explorer Leader
Has been in scouting since he was a cub.
Andy Cartmell
Assistant Cub leader
AKA: Hathi
I have been involved in scouting for 3 years with culloden cubs and 6 months with croy cubs. I have also been 14 years as a cub/scout parent.
The thing i most enjoy about scouting is the good "old fashioned" fun.
Anything else we should know about you? I trained as a chef when i first left school but none of the other leaders have worked that out for cooking at camps.
Sorry Andy they will now.

Cub Name : Rama
I've been involved in scouting for approximately 5 years, but had a
break for a year and a half while I "migrated" to Edinburgh.
Funny Story :
Soap Box Derby 2004 - was roped into a leaders race - was going well (if
you forget the fact we were last) until we changed over, so I was
steering and Mac (Andrew Macdonald) was pushing - the problem stemmed
from the fact that the cycle helmet I had borrowed for the race was
really meant for a cub size head, and not my big noggin. As we set off
at high speed (I'll remind you Mac was pushin) I leant back and caught
my head, and therefore the helmet, on the roll bar (very professionally
put together cart we were using!). This lead to the helmet (which was
previously perched on my head) to fall over my face, rendering me in
theory blind for the remainder of the race. I screamed the whole way
back to the finish line - which wasn't a straight route as we visited
the verge on several occasions. Unfortunately (and I would like to add
purely because of this situation) we came last.
What do I most enjoy about scouting? :
8 o'clock - no seriously I enjoy seeing the boys enjoying themselves
(often at the leaders expense) - it's a good feeling to see them
progress through the years.
Anything else you should know about me? :
Nope don't think so - em I'm a trainer/assessor for a local IT and
training co - ITP Solutions Ltd.
