Welcome to my home page. You can click on the links to the right to see some pictures of my birds. I try to update pictures regularly. ( I will update the pics sometime in Nov/Dec )
About me, I have raised some type of fowl including show quality bantams, large pit fowl and hatchery large and bantam fowl for over 30 years. I currently raise only show quality Brown Red, Lemon Blue and Wheaten Old English Game Bantams . Again, links are to the right and I plan to update my pics later this month.
Due to personal reason I have sold all of my Birchens, Silver Blues, Brassy Backs and Blue Wheatens. I want to thank all of you who have purchased these birds and I hope they bring you the joy and happiness they brought me. From this point forward I will concentrate on three varieties.... Brown Reds, Lemon Blues and Wheatens. I may have a few birds to sell around January in these varieties. Email me if you are interested.
Feel free to email me anytime with questions and I will be more than happy to try to answer them.

The Old English Game Bantam
Old English Game Bantams originated in England many years ago. Popularity in America has greatly increased since becoming a Standard breed in 1925 and they often are among our largest Classes in the show room. Type and color is similar to the large Old English with the possible exception that the tail of the Bantam does not show the full development of the large Old English. They are hardy and vigorous and come in the very attractive colors : Brown Red, Birchen, Wheaten and their Blue varieties as well as many other varieties. There is almost certainly a color you will find attractive.
Some info about the Crow Wing Varieties
The standardized crow wing varieties include Brown Red, Birchen, Lemon Blue and Silver Blue. All these varieties have dark brown eyes, mulberry faces, combs and wattles, and dark shanks. In the males, the top color of the hackle, saddle and wing bows contrasts with the ground color of the breast, tail, wing bar and wing bay. The upper breast feathers are finely laced with the same color as the hackle. Hackle and saddle feathers are striped with a darker ground color. The females are similar, with the top color being confined to hackle and breast lacing. For more information on crow wings or other varieties refer to Fred Jeffrey's book Old English Game Bantams as Bred and Shown in the United States You can obtain this book from The Old English Game Bantam Club of America.
