1st Crowborough Scout Group

Founded in 1908 1st Crowborough Scout Group is one of the largest Scout Groups in the UK.

There are three Beaver Colonies, three Cub Packs, two Scout Troops and an Explorer Unit.

The activities we do include Assault Course, Archery, Aviation, Backwoods Cooking, Camping, Climbing, Cooking, First Aid, Football, Forestry, Gang Show, Geology, Jamboree on the Internet, Hiking, Mountaineering, Leadership Skills, Mountain Biking, Night Hikes, Offshore Sailing, Pioneering, Rock Band, Scuba Diving, Service work, Soapbox, Survival Skills, Wide games and Windsurfing.

1st Crowborough Scout Group charity provides adventurous activities for young people between 6 and 18 years old. Go to the web site and see the wide range of activities and how to join. The web site also has a comprehensive history of activities with over 4,000 photographs. The group relies on a large number of people volunteering there time for the youth of Crowborough. The scouts are also famous for rediscovering Crowborough Caves.
