MISSION STATEMENT
Crossroads is a Catholic Community of Single adults, forty years
and older, seeking diversified spiritual and social needs and
blessings. We welcome people of all faiths, The members of the
Crossroads Steering Committee attest to the fact that they respect
and uphold the spiritual, moral and ethical teachings of the Catholic
Church, including respect for life.

NOTE: We regret that the High Society Tea scheduled for June 1st at St. Catherine of
Siena is cancelled until a future date, due to unforeseen circumstances. Watch your Newsletter!
NEW IDEAS:
We have people in Crossroads who are enthusiastic about the following activities:
airplanes, boating, cars, trains, archery, ATVing, biking trips, fishing, kite-flying, putt-putt
and more. If you are interested in any of the above, or if you have a talent to share, call
Ron 894-5953 or Gail 636-1135 with your thoughts as soon as possible.
We will then proceed to advertise in the next Newsletter.

Crossroads has a NO REFUND POLICY approved by the membership last year.
In the event you have paid for an event and cannot attend, please try to get
someone to take your place because a refund cannot be given.
Happy Hours - Our new motto is "A Dollar and a Drink".
This means we are signing in and giving a $1 tip to the service workers
at our host restaurant for treating us so well.
Irish Night - Tuesday, June 17th against the Durham Bulls. Game starts at 7:05 pm. Join us at the tent party at 5:15 pm for something to eat at your own expense. Game price is only $7 payable to Crossroads. Mail by June 1 to: PO Box 462, Lancaster, NY 14086.
Italian Night - Tuesday, July 22nd - 7:05 pm against the Norfolk Tides. Mail check for $7 by July 5th to above address.
Polish Night - Tuesday, August 5th - 7:05 pm - against the Indianapolis Indians. Mail chedk for $7 by July 15 to above address.

BALLROOM DANCE LESSONS BY CAROL -
Classes every Thursday night at St. Patrick's Church,
and
to participate. Classes -
for intermediates. Cost is $7 per night. First 2 lessons are free
for Crossroads members. There is no long-term commitment; you simply pay
when you come. Each lesson begins with the foxtrot. Other dances include
Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Mambo and Cha-Cha.
This is not a Crossroads event.
BREAKFAST CLUB - Every Tuesday morning at
restaurants during the month. Watch your Newsletter..
GOLF
A group of members are getting together to prepare for the upcoming
golf season. Let's organize a meeting date and time to "hit a bucket of balls"
and socialize at Paddock of Wehrle Golf Domes! Call Gail 636-1135/
SKIING ENTHUSIASTS
Join Paul A. for cross-country of downhill skiing this winter.

POTLUCK DINNERS - ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA CHURCH
Potlucks are changed to the 2nd Saturday of every month at
St. Catherine's. Our volunteers will take alternate turns with
their hosting dates. Check the calendar.
SUNSHINE CLUB – Call Waudell at 835-1871 to have a
sympathy or get-well card sent to Crossroads’ members. She,
in turn, will inform board members. In the event you learn of
the death of any member, please call someone on the Board of
Directors and a representative will attend the wake
VOLLEYBALL -
Sunday afternoons at St. Amelia's Church. 2-4 pm and
Wednesday evenings at St. Benedict's Church 8:30-10:30 pm
All skill levels are welcome.
