Voice Acting and Writing Resume

Meet the Author...

Writing has been a passion of mine since middle school. Through the years I've dabbled in prose and poetry across a range of genres- everything from metaphysical and mainstream to science fiction and fantasy. Though, lately I've settled comfortably with longer pieces and prefer sci-fi and fantasy.

I love reading, especially the work of other authors-in-the-works. If you're ever interested in an editor or a reviewer, feel free to contact me.

My favorite books include White Fang (Jack London), Frankenstein (Mary Shelley), Wuthering Heights (Emily Bronte), and Promise of the Wolves (Dorthy Hearst).

Often when I write I adopt the pseudonym, Alaster Cross (the name of a character in an earlier work).

Open for Commissions and Editing Requests

As a writer, I enjoy reviewing other writers' work and helping them to develop their own style of writing. If you are interested in assistance in any stage of writing (planning, development, or just review), feel free to contact me. Wether it is a story, a script, or a poem, I'll do my best to help you out.

Maybe you don't fancy yourself a writer, or want to include an introduction in your story by another author. Either way, I'm open for commissions. I'd be more than happy to write something for you. Again, just drop me a line and contact me.

My Writing Manifesto

The entire course of human history is ridden with a single cast of thought which governs our every action. It’s the quest for purpose, and it drives us into the pale and dusky landscape of our soul. The moment we choose to journey through its mists we are forever transformed: some into the people we wished to become, and others into the monsters fear.

I know now that my purpose is to be the chronicler of other worlds- to reveal the unseen faces and to make their stories known. I am a writer, and this is my manifesto:

First and foremost, I do not write solely for myself. Any work tailored to myself would embody me in every facet in such a way that I am both within and without the story, becoming both god and puppet. I am the master and servant held at odds. Invariably, my emotions and desires are left free to haunt every page, but are reduced to their most primal state and any path they follow will only lead to their fulfillment. I have become ensnared in myself- the tale I’ve written has trapped me in its chaos in such a way that I nor anyone else can learn or grown from it, we merely fall prey to the same mistakes, and drift unaware into a illusionary bliss.

No, to put oneself at the forefront of their work is to stand at the edge of a great precipice. As writers, our stories should reach out to embrace humanity in its extended grasp. Our work is not a stagnant pool, but a mighty river which drives to touch all the very core of the over-soul not only to feel, but to act and by acting, influence the lives of those who still remain lost in the night.

Amidst the ambiguous mass, however, one individual is not lost. The author must choose to stand in importance just beneath humanity’s gaze where the writer is held accountable and separate from their work, yet still remains the master artist who paints every word from the untold recesses of their heart.
