I really loved visiting your site - accidentally stumbled upon it while looking for information on the American fastener Co.
I've never been to, or liven in Waterbury, or even Conneticutt - I actually live near Vancouver, Canada, but your site is so charming, so full of wonderful nostalgic memories that are common to anyone in that age demographic, that I really ENJOYED IT. THANK YOU for the work that went into it!!

I love this site. I didn't graduate from Crosby until 1962 so that means I came into high school in 1958 and I certainly remember these upper classpeople.

I've just written a book that is almost completely based in Waterbury. I'd love to find a way to link this info to this site if it's possible.

I'm looking for a photo of M&M Restaurant. It was on North Main Street next to Carrol Theatre in the 60s. Any leads?

It's great to see the comments about the Bolands and J. P. Kinney and Mr. Good. As a serious genealogical researcher, I'm still trying to figure out how all these Bolands are related to me. Jake Kinney was an eloquent speaker at Holy Name Society functions and he was personally nice to me when I visited him during the summer of 1970. Mr. Good was the most difficult grader of tests that I ever encountered during my high school days but I was able to work my way around his quirks and come out okay.

I stumbled upon this site and what a surprise I got. Having grown up in Waterbury and an Alum of Crosby ( Class of 71 ). Seeing the pictures of Carol and Roger Zailskas whom I grew up with brought back such great memories. The last football team to go undefeated were the 69 Bulldogs. Go Old Ivy!
