Made Cronies FC debut in 100 Club Tournament, being named one of the players of the tournament after some inspired performances. This would be his only Cronies FC. Played for Exwick YFC up until 2006/07 when he joined lowly outfit Kenn United until they were kicked out of the league. Is rumoured to be the subject of a bid from the Frank Ndoli led revolution at Ndoli's Barmy Army.

Invited to play for club during 100 Club Tournament at Countess Wear. Made a positive impact on his debut for club and was one of the star performers during the run to the 2nd round where he came off injured in final match. This was to be his only tournament for the Cronies. Was a loyal player for Exwick YFC helping them win Juventus League 2 season 2005/06. Has since joined Exeter Civl Service senior side for 2007/08 season.

Macnamara was 1 of the original cronies and played in the Soccer Spooktacular tournament of 2005 notching 2 goals including a memorable strike against eventual champions Heavitree. Was unable to keep playin for Cronies FC due to his promising rugby career and he nows plays for Exeter Sacacens and the Exeter College Rugby Academy side. A return to Cronies FC at some stage in the future has not been ruled out.

Made 1 unsuccessful tournament appearance for Cronies in the Countess Wear 100 Club Event where he played in all but 1 match without scoring. Played for Beacon Knights Youth and stayed with the side despite much transfer speculation and he now plays for the reserve team outfit in Devon and Exeter Intermediate Division 4.
