The Rest of the Story

I'm living it. 

My daughter went to live with her dad in October 2004.  She's doing great!  Her grades have improved, her attitude is getting better and she's where she always wanted to be.

I'm learning to be a confident, independent woman.

Dave's still here.  We're growing together. 

The 2005 racing season was rough!  In 2004 Dave was the division champion.  Last year he had a lot of mechanical failures and didn't have such a great season. 

They've cut the number of races we run in half this year, giving us some much needed time off to enjoy life.  So far things are going alright.  Competition has gotten stiff.  I'm not spending as much time at the track, which is killing me.  But, it's working out better for us.

This is me and Nicki in October 2005.  I'm at 160 lbs.  She's 5'4" tall at 9 years old.
