A Wild SummerAll throughout my life, I'd always done the right thing. I'd never been wild. Something must have snapped! All the things I didn't do when I was younger, I was doing all of a sudden. My daughter spent the summer between her grandparents in Pennsylvania and her dad's in North Carolina. I spent my summer between the racetrack and the closest bar. Every night I'd find myself hanging out with friends, enjoying tequlia and a few laughs. Must have been a mid-life crisis. I was down to my lowest since before being pregnant - 156 lbs. I'd pierced my belly button, and get this, my tongue! I got involved with the wrong people! I thought I was having fun! Interaction with the ex was unpleasant. I was still crewing for a few guys at the track, and he was still there with our old team. I was beginning to question what I was doing. And then, there was Dave. Somebody Save Me! |
