2010 Weekend Summer Horse Camp will be on June 12 & 13.

2010 Horse Camp Information:

Cedar Ridge Farm will host its weekend Summer Horse Camp on June 12 and 13. Both english and western camps are offered. The camps will last 2 1/2 hours each day Saturday and Sunday. Camps are divided up into two skill levels: *Beginner/Advanced Beginner and *Intermediate/Advanced Intermediate. We will discuss with parents the experience level of each child to determine which camp they should enroll in.  Other unmounted equine related topics will be taught in clinics also. We have a limited number of spots for this camp so spots will be filled first come first serve. Contact us for more information or for a registration form.

Cost per camp is $70.00        Schedule for camps each day:

Western Camp: 12:30pm - 3pm 

English Camp: 3:30pm - 6pm

A $25.00 deposit must be paid and mailed to us with your registration form by June 5 in order to reserve your spot in our horse camp. This deposit does count towards your tuition.

Well done all. What did they learn at camp? How to groom and tack up their horse, how to safely handle from the ground and ride their horses in english or western, the parts of the body and different colors of a horse, how to clean tack and the names of parts of tack, major horse diseases and their symptoms, braiding and banding of the mane, how to properly put on horse boots, walking your jumping course and figuring the strides between jumps.
