   MEN OF THE IRISH SEA

During the second world war, The neutral irish merchantile marine lost many lives in the sea.  Countries including Ireland where almost entirely dependant on Irish merchant ships for the supply of commodities which come from outside.  Between 1939 and 1945 there where 16 vessels and 2 trawlors lost.

These brave sea farers are remembered every year usually the second last Sunday in November with mass in City Quay Church, Dublin.  Wreaths are laid at the sea mens memorial which constitutes the names of 150 men lost on Irish ships.

This film is dedicated to them.

There is no charge for this DVD but a donation is very much appreciated which will help to establish fund to be used for church maintenance, the marginalise and homeless in City Quay parish.
