Tube of your choice, I used Keith Garvey you can purchase a license to use his tubes here.
Preset shape of your choice or you can make one. You can also find a ding if you would like.
I try to write tutorials so most levels can complete them. This isn't a beginner tut in a way. You need to know your tools and locations but it's still pretty basic. Has a lot of room for growth. Please feel free to let your creativity blossom while completing them.
1. Open a graphic 500 x 500 with a white background. You can change the background color when your tag is basically done to match. But just for now so you can see what you are doing.
2. Select your preset shape with a line width of 4.
3. Make your shape on your blank image and use the nodes to get it the right size/shape and look for your tube.
4. Right click in your shape layer and convert to a raster when you are happy with it.
5. Get your wand tool ready with these settings.
6. Click on the insides of your shape where the lighter color is. Look at my screenshot for an example.
9. Because i used a graphic that put it transparent where i clicked and chose i had to fill it with a third color. If you have a transparent place selected do this step now.
8. Right click in your layer pallete again and duplicate your shape 2 times for a total of 3
10. Make sure your top layer is selected. Effects, eye candy 4000 and swirl. use the default settings and ok
11. Go to the middle layer and do the same effect except hit random seed 1 time and ok.
12. Do the same for the bottom layer and hit random seed one time and hit ok. Deselect.
13. Go to your top layer, copy and paste your tube onto your graphic and place it where it looks good to you.
14. Add a drop shadow of your liking to your tube layer.
15. Select your text tool. Use a color of your choice with 0 in stroke width. Put your text, copyright and your watermark. Merge with your tube layer only.
16. Duplicate your tube/text layer 2 times so you have the same amount as your shape layer.
17. Now is the time to make your background any color other than white. You can keep the white but since there are drop shadows on this graphic, it will be better to choose the same color as what the graphic will be viewed on. This will give the illusion that it is transparent.
18. Duplicate your background layer 2 times.
19. You now have 9 layers. 3 of each. close of the top 2 on each graphic, then go to the bottom layer that is open and hit merge visible.
20. Close that newly merged layer and open the next layer of each different kind. go back to the open background layer and merge visible. Close this off.
21. Open the last three layers. There should be one of each left. merge these visible and open the other 2 layers. Save as a pspimage.
22. Open your graphic in animation shop and hit ctrl-a to select all 3 frames.
23. Right click on the blue bar and choose frame properties to change the speed of the animation. I chose 35 but you can choose what speed you want.
24. You will probably want to resize your graphic. Go into animation, resize animation and resize to your liking. Optimize and save your graphic and you are done!
