Colored Eye
Supplies
1 tube/graphic of an eye or something that you want to change colors
psp any version should work
animation shop (this is a must have for this one lol)
There are similar tutorials on the web like this. It's a common effect. But i'm not going to turn this into a sig tag. Just the effect. So get yourself your perferred drink (with three kids scotch on the rocks is fine with me he he) Graphic comes from the
stock exchange.
1. Open psp and animation shop. Minimize as for now. Get the graphic you wish to use for this tutorial.
2. If you wish to make this into a tag do that now. Make sure you put your watermark and artist copyright on at this stage as well!
3. Choose your freehand tool with these settings:
selection - point to point
Mode - Add(shift)
Feather - 0
Smoothing - 0
anti-alias - checked
Circle the color part of the eye (or whatever you want colroed) with your freehand tool. (just a hint, i used a black and white pic, so i had to promote my background and colorize the selected part before bringing it over to as. or it won't work. now if yours is colored already you will be fine you can skip this.) Right click on the top blue bar of your graphic. Copy the selection and bring it open to animation shop.
4. Paste it as a new animation in as. Then go up to effects, Insert image effect. At these settings.

5. now you have 7 frames. you can delete the first one but i usually leave it. so it has something of the natural part in it lol. Copy your main graphic from psp and paste it as a new image. right click on the top bar and duplicate frames till you have the same amount as your animated frames.
6. now both grahpics should have the same amount of frames. bringing them over is actually easier than you think.
7. On your animated graphic make sure it's the active one and click ctrl-a (this will highlight all frames) then hit ctrl-c (this will copy them all at the same time.)
8. Now on your graphic you wish to place the animation on make sure it's active (click on the blue bar) ctrl-a to select all frames and click ctrl-e (paste!!!) then take your mouse and click where you want the animation. if you used eyes make sure they are where they originally were on your unanimated graphic this way they look more natural.
9. You can close out your animated frames (not the main one!!)
10. now since all the frames are highlighted play with the frame properties (speed) normally i'd do these around 40=60 depending on what i animated this way. This isn't something you want to be blinking off and on fast.
That's it! I hope it was easy to follow! Thank you and feel free to check back for new tuts from time to time! Please do not copy and paste this tutorial anywhere on the net. You may share a text link to it. Thank you for understanding that. This tutorial is copyrighted to Crioslobo
