Creative Creations Awards

Rules:

1. Your video must be 45 seconds or less. I don't have time to view super long video intros.

2. Your video intro can be premade or brand new.

3. Your video intro cannot be anti-God, contain porn, or be extremely hateful in any way. It should be positive!

4. You may enter up to 3 video intros, no more than that.

5. Have fun!

Please follow these rules when submitting your videos and websites.

Main Rules

1. I will judge the TV and Movie videos together. It's just much easier on me so that way so I can get awards to you quicker!

2. I accept up to 21 submissions per round. If it goes over that, I may allow it or move your submission(s) to the next round. Please be patient on me getting awards and reviews to you. I am judging by myself and I'm a full time college student with a hectic schedule so you will need to wait as long as it takes for me to post awards and reviews every round.

3. Make sure you put the right code word in.

4. I do NOT accept slideshow or video game videos. Sorry.

5. If you have your own website, please provide a link to this website. You may pick up a link button on the links page. If you have trouble putting a link button on your site, you may provide a text link then.

6. After the 15th or 20th round, I will judge another "Best of the Best Round" where all the winners (possibly runner-ups too) from the first ten rounds will be judged.  For this round, there will be new rules and a new submission form.

7. If submitting a video for a challenge, please state the challenge # in your description. If you are making a new video specfically for a challenge for this website, let me know and I can give you more time to submit it if necessary.

8. You must submit only your own videos and your own websites (your own work), no one else's. State all names if more than one person contributed to the video or website.

9. If the url of the video or website changes, then use the submission email address on the submit page to let me know.

11. Acceptable formats for videos include any formats that can be played on Windows Media Player or Quicktime Player. These formats are most commonly .wmv and .avi as well as .mov and .mpg or .mpeg.

12. The e-mail address you put in the submission form must be valid and must be open to recieve e-mails. Please make sure it's one you check often and use a lot so I can e-mail you there without any problems.

13. Only one spot can be saved per vidder, per round for an entry and only ten saved spots will be accepted per round.

14. Only 1 video submission will be accepted from each vidder, whether it is a regular video or for a challenge listed on the challenge page. This rule is in place because rounds have been closing too fast and people are missing out on submitting to the website and also I am the only judge at the website. If your video is for a challenge, you may nominate it in other categories as well.

15. HAVE FUN!!! I know these are a lot of rules and I'm sorry, but please, I encourage you to enter your videos if they follow the rules! If you have any questions, you may use the tagboard or contact me by email or instant messenger (see Contact Me page).

TV Show Rules

1. I will now accept any tv show fandom except for video gaming and pornographic shows. Crossovers are allowed, I love watching them. (You may see my favorite tv shows on the judges page.)

2. Do not steal clips from other people's videos! This is a BIG NO. Also, do not steal clips from websites without giving them credit such as favorite-moments.net or Simply Infatuated. If I find that you have done this, I will delete your video from that round. If you forgot to credit the website or person you took clips from, please credit them when typing the description of your video or in an email to us so we are aware of it. If clip theft happens more than once or twice, I may ban you from submitting from the site.

3. Your video can't be larger than 50 MB. If it is, let me know and I might go ahead and accept it. If you need help on resizing your video, contact me (see Contact Me page).

4. You may use any uploading site you choose including your own website EXCEPT  Yousendit and Megaupload! There are problems that arise from using those websites that is not good. (Fast expiration and limitations.) Sorry if this inconviences anyone. YouTube and other streaming sites are ok. Zipped files are ok. If I have a problem downloading or viewing your video, I will email you. I prefer for you to use savefile.com, sendspace.com, or your own server because files stay there longer than a week and don't expire fast.

6. You can nominate yourself in up to five categories only (6 if Best Challenge is included). Your video will automatically be put into the following categories: Honorable Mention, Best TV Show (Including any possible awrds for  Best One Tree Hill, Best O.C., etc), Best Movie (Including any possible awards for Best Harry Potter, etc.), Best Overall Video, Judges Choices, and any other special awards I may give out.

7. If your video wins an award, you may NOT enter it in future rounds. However, if it does not, you may enter it in another round, but please no more than 3 rounds.

8. Profanity in the lyrics or voice overs is allowed! Slash is also allowed. Mature sexual shows like Queer As Folk with their sex scenes are ok.

9. Where it says rules in the form, put "Grey's Anatomy." This will show us that you read and understand the rules. This word for the rules slot in the form will most likely change every round.

10. If there are less than 2 entries for one or more categories, I will not judge for that category (or categories). You may submit your videos again if they do not win an award for another category (or categories).

Movie Rules

1. I accept any Movie videos (Comedy, Horror, Action, Romance, etc) EXCEPT for anime and this does include computer animation video games. Disney movies are ok.

Website Rules

Please follow the following rules when submitting your websites!

1. To enter your website(s), use the website submit form on the submit page. It will only be there when the round is open for submissions. If you have a saved spot for website submissions, feel free to use the e-mail submission form for website submissions at the bottom of the submit page.

2. If you have a porn and/or an anti- anything site, I will not judge it. Same goes for websites under construction or frozen. Also, if you submit a username profile page like on myspace (personal or fanpage), facebook, message board page, or the like, I will not accept it as an actual website.  See this website and my affilates page for examples of websites I do accept if you are confused (or ask me on the tagboard). If your website is on a hiatus, but all the content of the website is still avaliable, you may still enter it into the the current round.

3. Your website must be in the english language or have the option to choose the english language. Otherwise, I can not judge it. This is very important!

4. You may submit up to three of your websites in one round. If you have more than that, please wait until the next round to submit more of your websites.

5. If there is more than one co-owner or webmaster of your website, please put both names down in the names slot of the website submission form.

6. This should go without saying, but if you do not have a website, that is ok. You are not required to submit a website here.

7. You may resubmit your website for awards that it has not won previously, but please do not resubmit it for more than three rounds. So, please only nominate your website in categories it has not won awards for yet.

8. I will only accept up to 10 website submissions per round. If your website entry (or entries) are moved into the next round, I will notify you.

9. When voting for websites in the viewers choice category, you may only vote ONCE. Same goes if you are voting for yourself. Only vote for ONE website.

10. I am doing a form voting system when giving out the viewer's choice website award to make it easier a little more fair than a poll, so I can see that everyone votes only once. Everyone who looks at the website entries can vote. Please don't use multiple email addresses or names to vote more than once - one VOTE per person.

11. There is now a "Have you read the rules?" question you need to answer in the form so I know you read these rules. The answer for this round is "Happy Holidays."

Note: If there are any ties when voting ends, I will make the deciding decision about which website wins the award.

Video Categories

Best Opening-A video that has an opening (beginning) that is great to introduce the concept of a video and or just the beginning that is effective.
 Best Romance-A video that is full of romantic elements such as kissing, hand holding, love making, etc.
 Best Tearjerker-A video that is so sad it makes you want to cry.
 Best Couple-A video that shows the good and bad times a couple has been through.
 Best Friendship-A video that shows two people being friends, showing their platonic bond or connection.
 Best Character-A video that shows one person and everything he or she is about.
 Best Cast-A video showing every character on a tv show or movie.
 Best Angst-A video with a lot of sad emotion and internal struggle such as a person trying to get over a breakup.
 Best Alternate Reality-A video that shows a different world or scenario that has not happened on a tv show or movie.
 Best Point of View-A video that is told from one or more points of view from a certain character.
 Best Editing-A video that is put together well and flows smoothly without any glitches.
 Best Song Use-A video that shows or follows what the lyrics of a song means consistently throughout the video.
 Best Music-A video that has the best music for the situation in that video.
 Best Action-A video that is full of things like blowing stuff up, fighting, death, etc.
 Best Drama-A video that shows a world full of pain or arguements or fighting or whatever else you think qualifies as drama.
 Best Crossover-A video that includes two or more tv shows or movies. For example, a One Tree Hill and The O.C. crossover video.
 Best Special Effects-A video that has amazing effects such as black/white, split-screen, flashes, fading, etc.
 Sexiest Video-A video that shows sexy elements that may have characters having sex or shows how hot a situation or character is in a video.
 Cutest Video-A video that just makes you go "Aww!" or "That is so cute!" and shows tender or touching moments.
 Most Unique-A video that shows something totally different than from what happened in a tv show or movie or anything else that may qualify as unique.
 Best Challenge-A video that qualifies for the challenge listed on this website (such as a Lucas/Haley video, a Fab Four video, etc.)

I will automatically put your videos into these categories if they apply:

Honorable Mention-A video that does not win, but is worth mentioning.

Best TV Show video-A video that showed the best elements in a TV show.

-Awards such as Best One Tree Hill, Best O.C., Best Veronica Mars, and so forth will be given out if there are enough entries.

Best Movie video-A video that showed the best elements in a movie.

Best Overall Video-A video that was outstanding and very impressive.

Judges Choices (Christy's Choice, Anna's Choice, and Lieselot's Choice)-A video that is personally chosen by the judges that they really enjoyed.

Also, any special awards we feel like giving out may be posted such as Most Moving, Most Touching, etc.
