COACHING AND PERSONAL CONSULTATIONS
PERSONAL CONSULTATION- A personal consultation is a one-on-one session with Teresa coaching someone in using the processes on personal situations and circumstances.
SHARING RATHER THAN TEACHING – Teresa likes to say she doesn't teach this stuff, she just lives it. Teresa is sensitive to the fact that her clients already know the material, they’re just looking to put it into practice.
WHAT IT'S LIKE - Teresa's work at the processes table at meetups is strongly indicative of her approach in a personal consultation. Differences are, in a personal session her comments will be more direct, she will come at you from more angles, she will challenge you to a greater degree.
As one person phrased it, "This is living Law of Attraction rather than 'talking about' it." Another said Teresa's approach "forced me to be disciplined and do the work."
CREDENTIALS – None. At least
not in the usual sense. No college degree, no "Abraham-Hicks Training
Program" (there isn't one), no education in how to be a coach.
The processes
table at meetups has been a powerful training ground in learning how to lead others
in doing the processes. As a result, people have been approaching
Teresa for personal consultations outside of meetups. Accordingly, she decided to go ahead and
offer private sessions.
WHEN AND HOW - Average session is 45 minutes of active coaching by telephone, but please allow at least an hour. Teresa prefers to meet in person before arranging telephone sessions; attending a meetup that she facilitates will satisfy this requirement. All personal consultations are private and confidential.
HOW MUCH – The rate is $100 per session.
IS THERE A SLIDING SCALE? - If the price is stopping you from scheduling a coaching session, please contact Teresa to propose a fee.
IS THE FIRST COACHING SESSION A FREE INTRODUCTION? - Please don't take this the wrong way but, no. You see, Teresa is not trying to build a coaching practice in the traditional sense. She loves group work, and loves coaching people in a group setting; that's her focus. However, people have increasingly approached her for private consultations in applying the Law of Attraction in their lives, and Teresa accepts coaching engagements in response to those requests.
If you've never attended an event with Teresa yet love every word you've read on her site and you are burning to have her coach you, go ahead and send her an email asking for a session. If she agrees, it won't be free(!), and she's going to make you do some work (she'll likely ask you to submit one or two
written worksheets in advance).

COACHING - This is coaching in using processes to align energy in order to feel better, as described on
The Goal page. The focus here is not on manifestation, it's on deliberately shifting one's point of attraction.
SCHEDULING - For the most part Teresa prefers sessions to be scheduled one at a time, and does not regularly block out the same time slot for the same person on an ongoing basis. Although the majority of sessions are expected to be on an occasional
basis, there are times when someone may want a continuing focus on a
certain issue or to set aside time for a more open-ended exploration.
LIGHTNING COACHING - Teresa has
an uncanny ability to help someone in just 5 to 15 minutes. Lightning
coaching is free at classes and
workshops. There are breaks built into the workshop schedule for this
very reason, and Teresa makes herself available before and after
classes.
WHAT ABOUT LIGHTNING COACHING AT MEETUPS -
Meetups are a nominal fee. Teresa coaches at the processes table. She generally makes herself
available to get to know people before and after meetups as well, and
it's not unusual for someone to ask for additional input on a
circumstance or situation then. This is not private, it is a situation where others may overhear and benefit from the interaction. Under those circumstances she's happy
to give someone five or ten minutes of focused attention and there is no charge.
However, in cases where a person approaches Teresa privately for advice after events or when someone
contacts her outside of meetups for what amounts to lightning coaching sessions, it would be appropriate to pay a prorated
coaching fee.
