Shafttail Finches

From October 2006 to January 2007 I purchased five of the most beautiful Cream Shafttail Finches. All of which died by January 2007. After loosing them I was very upset. And after much research and discussion with other breeders, I decided to give this mutation another chance. The second time around i've had much better luck, as witnessed in my photographs.

This red-eyed mutation is a beautiful, stunning and striking bird.

I've paired up my Cream hens with normal males. All the chicks hatched will be visual normals. Only the males from this pairing will be split for cream. I will pair off the normal/cream males back to cream females at which point I will have both male and female creams, normal female and normal/cream male offspring.
