This photo is of the 416th's regimental banner.  We purchased this reproduction based on the original in the GPW Museum from Alex at Front of Russia.  Visit his site for excellent original and reproduction gear at www.frontofrussia.com

Our ranks are open to those desiring to portray and experience a little of what the frontovik of WWII did.  Whether you want the tactical combat experience or living history/education we have it all.  Please read the mission statement below and contact us if you are interested.  Unlike German or GI impressions, the Russian impression is the least expensive of the major WWII impressions.

Our unit is composed of a Scout/Sniper Squad and a Rifle Squad.

We do have loaner gear and can outfit you for your first event so you can decide whether you'd like to stick with it or not.  We think you will.  It is after all, quite fun.

 Mission Statement

The goal of the 416th Rifle Regiment, 112th Rifle Division is to accurately portray the common Soviet "Rifle" Infantryman of World War Two (1939-1945) in all aspects.  Our impression focuses on the history, lives, uniforms/accoutrements, and encampments of these Krasnoarmietsy.  So as to provide an educational tool, for both the public and fellow reenactors, to convey the story of a country that lost 29+ millions of its population staving off the German invasion, and providing the anvil for which the allies could forge victory.  The 416th will remain apolitical and will not act as a vehicle for either current or past Communist parties of any country.  The unit will work towards the goal above, have fun and always remember the unit motto; "Strive for Authenticity."

That above is the unit mission statement.  We also have a code of conduct which all members of the unit are required to abide by.
