As many people will know, Jet has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, and he has spent four months undergoing various medical tests prior to receiving treatment. He is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment which consists of one day in every three weeks having chemotherapy given intravenously in hospital and the rest of the time he is receiving the chemotherapy in the form of tablets, which he is taking at home.
Jet is very positive and he is coping well with the treatment. On the advice of his consultant, the autumn tour has been cancelled, but Jet is looking forward to being able to gig again as soon as possible.
I’m sure that everyone will want to give both Jet and Janet their support during this difficult time, and to wish Jet a speedy return to good health.
Jet would like everyone to know that he does read all the messages posted in the Guestbook. It means a great deal to Jet and Janet to know that people care and they thank everyone for their good wishes and support

Welcome aboard!
With this website, Jet and the team have been bringing eveyone all the latest info on the progress of his brand new album; 'The Journey'
Regular visitors to this site will already have been following the progress of this new and exciting album, which we are delighted to say is now available from and via this website.
It's taken since December 2005 to get to completion, but Jet and the team all agree that it's all been well worth the hard work and time spent on this very special project.

You have heard us frequently talking about ourselves as "The Team" well that's just what we are; A very close knit team of dedicated professionals, headed by the legend himself, Mr Jet Harris! and though we work very hard to achieve the great results we get, we still have a heck of a lot of fun doing it!
So without further ado, I will introduce everyone to you! (each one a crucially important cog in the Jet Harris sound Machine!)
Jet Harris (Lead guitar and Bass guitar)
This man certainly needs no introduction! His unique style of bass and lead playing has inspired generations of guitarists around the world, He is the guitar hero of guitar hero's!, and Jet is (of course) the main artist on the album.

Nigel Hopkins (Trumpet, Percussion, Programming and Production)
This man too needs no introduction, as he is a world renowned trumpet player with a few hits to his name. He is also Jet's writer, producer and manager (All enqiries to Nigel please). Nigel has also written and produced for television; He is without doubt one of the hardest working people in music, and manages to stay sane despite having to wear many different hats at the same time.
Paul Rumble (Lead guitar and Rhythm guitar)
Paul is a versatile semi-professional guitarist of some 38 years experience in many different musical styles, including Instrumental guitar, Surf, Rock, Blues, Soul, RnB, Reggae, Soca, Country etc, and was inspired to play the electric guitar by non other than the sound of "The Shadows"; Paul was invited by Jet and Nigel to become a part of the team after hearing him nail 'that sound,' which was exactly the retro-modern sound that was required for the album.
Bob Jenkins (Drums)
Bob started playing in the early days with his parents in modern jazz groups as they were both gifted musicians, and his career so far has incorporated some very diverse artists from many different era's, as will be seen from the following list. He has toured and / or recorded with mainstream pop artists:- Sheena Easton, Kiki Dee, Elton John, Barbara Dickson, Sandie Shaw, Basia, The 3 Degrees, Gerrard Kenny, Lynx, Junior Giscombe, Jackie Graham, Andy Williams, Edwin Starr, Marshall Hain, Leo Sayer, Sarah Jory, Bucks Fizz, and German band Alphaville.
Other artists include:- Blusemen, Jimmy Witherspoon, Jay Owens, Dave Kelly and Paul Jones. Beyond the blues there has been work with heavy rockers Lionheart. Other artists include:- Jack Bruce, Pete Brown, Keith Emerson, Ian Lynne, Van Morrison, Richard Thompson, Roger Chapman and Nat King Cole's brother Freddy cole, and many tracks for "Up With People." Work on many TV series including "The Life and Loves of a She Devil", "King of the Ghetto", "Jumping the Queue", "The Marksmen" "Boon" etc.
Chucky is the youngest member of the team. He is a very talented vocalist and lyric writer who injects that all important element of "Today" into Jet's new tracks, and thereby adding to that unique 'old meets new' sound!
Debbie Worthy (Vocals)
A lead vocalist is not something you would normally expect to find on a Jet Harris track (backing vocals excepted), but believe me, Debbie's amazing vocals have added yet another great dimension to the Jet Harris sound. She is no stranger to fame herself, having sung on several commercial releases; Debbie was also featured on Radio one's record of the week.
