I have known Lori for many months and she is probably the best caregiver anyone could have for their bird. I unfortunately had to give up my double yellow headed Amazon (Buddy) and Lori took him in and has treated him just like one of the family. I can also come and visit Buddy whenever I want to, Lori has always opened her home to me and my family to see him. Lori and I have become good friends in the process as well and I have seen her hand feed her baby birdies and she is a fantastic parront! Anyone having the good fortune to get a bird from Lori's flock is one lucky person!

For years I had been a lover, keeper and breeder of cage birds.  A couple of years ago I decided to take a break from doing this.  Recently I decided I would like to have just one small pet parrot.  I choose to have a Green Cheek Conure.   I checked out all the breeders of these little birds on the Internet and decided on ‘Crazy4birds’.  There was just something outstanding about this particular breeder that made me want to purchase my pet from her.  Lori just seemed to have a particular passion for her pets.  It was evidenced in the way she talked about them, the way she was willing to work and care for them and the way in which she presented them for sale.  She appeared to really trust her clients and cared more for the birds than she did for the money.  She went out of her way to keep me posted by e-mails and photos on the progress of the baby green cheeks from the moment they were just eggs to the moment when they were ready to leave her aviary.

I sent her the name I had chosen for my pet.  One of her children lovingly picked out the baby that was to be given the name I supplied.  Then I was given individual photos of my pet green cheek before he arrived at my home in New Brunswick.  He was shipped with as much loving care as he had been given from the beginning.  When I received him he turned out to be one of the nicest, happiest, and outgoing adorable pets I have ever seen.  I have yet to see a pet parrot more wonderfully socialized than this little fellow.

I could give no higher recommendation than that which I have stated above.  Lori McCormick      who owns and operates ‘Crazy4birds Aviary’ comes highly recommended in my books as a keeper, care giver and breeder of pet birds.

We can say with a smile that Crazy4Birds Aviary is just that - Crazy. The birds are crazy, funny and wonderful and Lori and her family are crazy about them! When we first contacted Lori about a little Green Cheek Conure, she only had one left. The family had grown quite attached and Lori seemed settled on keeping him as her own. They called him Lucky - but the only one lucky was me because a few days later, Lori called with the good news that she was going to let us have the bird! We went out to see him the very same day and he was beautiful! Lori agreed, without a second of hesitation, to keep the bird for me until we could have a proper cage set up (which ended up taking nearly a week).
When we finally did get to pick up our little guy, Lori gave us some of the food he was used to having in the mornings and the recipe to make it at home. She answered all of our questions with patience and understanding, and still does today. We renamed the bird "Luca" and he's happy, healthy and an INCREDIBLY social addition to our family. We couldn't imagine a day without him here! If we ever decide to get Luca a friend, or any other bird alike, we wouldn't think twice about going back to Crazy4Birds Aviary!

For some time we have been thinking about purchasing a parrot.  We set out
on our mission by emailing many local breeders, asking a few basic questions
and trying to get a feel for each aviary as we investigated our options.  We
already know we did not want to purchase our new addition to our family
through a pet store.  We wanted a newly weaned properly raised baby.

We were very happy with all the advice, patience, time, and care that Lori
showed us over the months while we waited for our little girl.  We spent a
lot of time asking questions, and Lori always responded with understanding
and reinsurance to all our worries and needs.

Lori is a great breeder who truly cares for her little babies.  I would
definitely recommend purchasing your new bird form Lori of Crazy 4 Birds
Aviary.

If you would like to ask me any question about my purchase and adventures
with my new little Green Cheek, which we named Athena, please feel free to
email me at mary_qtpie9@hotmail.com.

I want to thank Lori for all her wonderful help and hand holding during the purchase of my green check conure! I was a very nervous first time baby bird buyer! I had a million questions and concerns and Lori took the time to answer all of them! She phoned me when I got home to check on us and followed up with another call the next day. She gave me a detailed out line of what to feed Kelso and how to take care of her..
I found her bird cages and home very clean and her birds were all very healthy! I was welcomed in to her home like one of the family and introduced to all her birds.
I still keep in touch with her and keep her up to date on how her "daughter" is doing. I appreciate all that she has done and would not hesitate to make my next bird purchase from her!
Thanks again Lori !! Your email address says it all!

When I noticed my 2, 1 ½ week old cockatiel chicks were becoming so weak they could not hold their heads up for the parents to feed them, I phoned Lori who told me to bring them over and she would see what she could do for them. By the time I got there she had her brooder on and warmed up, and a batch of food ready. After a feeding and a warm environment for a few hours, they started perking up. Unfortunately the weakest chick died through that first night, but the remaining chick kept getting stronger. The following Wednesday, after I had set-up a brooder and feeding regimen, I retrieved my chick and brought it home. It is now gaining weight and eagerly awaits his next feeding. Thanks Lori
