Hello and welcome to our small space on the net.

We are a small time bird breeder located in Corunna, Ontario Canada.

My great love for birds started when I was very young. While growing up I had a couple of Budgies and Cockatiels.

Just a few short years ago my Hubby surprised me with a pair of Budgies for my birthday.

I loved them so much I decided to do some research and get into breeding them.

Wow, did I have a lot to learn. Birds just didn’t eat seeds. They need a balanced diet of fruit, veggies, pellets, rice, pasta and other goodies.

It seemed to take forever for my Budgies to mature. When they did I noticed that they were both males.

My next step was to talk my Hubby into getting me 2 females.

While waiting for my Budgies to have their first clutch my kids and I fell in love with Lovebirds.

Our bird explosion was well under way when we got into Fischers then Cockatiels and Green Cheeked Conures. Then came Parrotlets, Alexandrines, Pearly Conures and Maximillian Pionus’s.

From time to time people have re-homed their birds with us. We have an Amazon, a Parrotlet and 2 Cockatoos that will remain in our household as pets.

All or our Breeder birds are pets first. The majority of them are tame. We only let them have 2 clutches a year.

I can honestly say that keeping birds is a lot of hard work and very time consuming, but it is very rewarding and a great hobby.

Before you purchase your new bird make sure you have researched the specie and talked to a few breeders before making the decision to buy.

Just remember there is lots of unwanted birds out there that people have purchased without taking into consideration the bird, screams, makes a mess, bites, feather plucks and demands more attention then your prepared to give.
