I am so grateful to be a member of a church that expresses it's love for one another so deeply. You are all remembered constantly, prayed for regularly, thought of lovingly, and cared about sincerely.
May the Lord flood you with His presence,
Best wishes for a healthy, happy, prosperous, and Christ filled New Year

Thank you for putting so much information out there. I have a three year old son who has so many of the same issues. We are having a hard time finding anyone else who can even begin to understand what life is like. I admire you for taking the time for posting your details. It lets families like ours know that you live what we call normal lives.

Rachel,

Wow! Your website is very inspiring! I hve just been diagnosed with Dysautonomia, and am going to see a doctor that deals specifically with Dysautonomia in a few weeks. Thank you for posting your experiences. We do not know God's plan, but you have been a blessing to me today.

Thank you!

Rachel - I posted once before; but God put it upon my heart to thank you again for both of your websites... I have POTS/Dysautonomia... I'm sorry that we both are sick... but your words of wisdom here, all of the information, you describing your "good and bad" days - it has helped me so much... I've encouraged many people to read your site to find out more about my own struggles - I hope that's ok with you! Thank you for taking the time to put all of this up. Just by reading the comments here - you can see just a few of the many people you have blessed. Above all, Rachel - I admire your faith...and your ability to put God fully in control... Just wanted you to know that I really appreciate the hard work you've put into getting this information up... God Bless you, Rachel! In Christ, Tina

Hi! Rachel, I'm so glad that we got to see you twice while you were back. We really enjoyed hearing Will preach and to visit with you all. Your website is so inspiring. I've told many about it. May God continue to give you the strength to do this as it is a real blessing to those that read it. God's blessing on you ,my dear. Rachel, I have you right at the top of my prayer list of mothers to be. You are a wonderful mom, and I know your little girl is going to be as beautiful as you.
. Keep that beautiful smile of yours and that glow from within that only God can give to you. We love you. You are special.

Hi, Rachel!

I saw you at your Oma's 90th birthday party recently. Your Dad, Karl Heinz, used to baby sit my younger brother, so our families friendship goes back 40 years!! Your Aunt Barbara and your Oma visited with us this past Saturday. Barbara sent me the links to your website, since I had inquired about you being in a wheelchair. Thank you for your awesome testimony to the power of God to keep a heart strong despite the most severe trials. It is clear you love the Lord, as I do. Years ago I served as a missionary at Stonecroft Ministries. The Bible is my favorite book, and one I read faithfully every day. I will put you on my prayer list in the hope that our wonderful Savior and Lord will perform a miracle in your life. But if He does not, the miracle will still be that you are a shining and bright light for His glory. God bless you in every way!
Your friend in Christ, Karin

I'm still here. Think about you often. You are such an inspiration. You are like a seed planted, going through the dark and light, water and lack of water. But when you write it is like the growth of that precious plant and yes, one day when we see Jesus the "bloom" of your life will be full and beautiful for everyone to see and praise Him! Hi, Rachel!!!
It is soooooo good to see your face in the picture here! We still LOVE Rachel and always will!!! Thank you for putting the example of a day on your journal. . . . I needed to read that to pray better for you. I will admit, it is overwhelming to hear about your health, but I must remind myself you are a precious child of the King of the Universe and He is very aware of your needs and loves you more than anyone ever could. So, I will pray to Him to provide all your needs, one day at a time! You have learned many great lessons in your young life that many of us out here should also learn. Trusting God for every little detail of your day, that's a good lesson for all of us!
Also, I LOVE your choice of songs. . . .esp. "The Warrior is a Child". . . . LOVE that one! :-)
You bring such sweet memories of the times you and Natalie had. . . . so many smiles and so much laughing! You were such a blessing to our family in those years! Thank you, AGAIN, Rachel, for being a blessing to us !!! :-)

God watch over you today, Rachel!
With much love in Him,
Cindy

Psalm 55:22 "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall." ("sustain". . . .to give support from underneath, to nourish!)

Hi, Rachel!
Thanks for making me aware of the additions to your web site. The pictures are amazing! In reading the comments below, I can see that you are not only a blessing to your family, but also to many, many others. I can imagine that if I had your condition and came upon this web site, I would be so uplifted. You are an amazing young woman, Rachel! Despite your physical limitations, you are doing the Lord's work with every move you make, every breath you take. God bless and keep you!
Love,
Aunt Barbara

Hi Rachel,

I was just diagnosed on Monday with POTS and NCS. I have had this as long as I can remember but just finally found a doctor that knew what was going on. I grew up in a small fishing village, Cordova, Alaska. I am currently living just outside of Washington DC in Viringia. I did a google search to learn a little more about dysautonomia and stumbled upon your page. WOW!!! You are such a strong person. For the last few days I have been really struggling and after reading your story I am now looking at my life in a whole new way. Thank you so much for putting your story out there for the world to see. God Bless!!

I ran across your page researching POTS. I was diagnosed in Oct 2008. Im 27 and have a 5 and 2yr old girls. My life has changed very much. I use to be so active. I feel as if im depriving my children of attention due to being so tired. I still work. and that is only because we can't afford for me not to. I barely make it through the day with work and home life. by the time i get off im ready to crash. I seen you live in kentucky. What part? Im from ohio. Outside of cinicnnati.

Wow I have not yet been diagnosed with POTS because all the doctors simply look at my legs and feet, shrug their shoulders and walk away. When I saw the pictures of your feet and legs it was an OMG moment. I started crying feeling like I might have finally found an answer to what has been going on and that it isn't all in my mind. I could mail you identical pics of my feet and legs.

I am diabetic and after reading your website and doing some research I understand that diabetics sometimes develop POTS and dysautonomia..... wonder why my endocrinologist didn't catch this.

Thank you so much for sharing.... I feel like I have a direction to point these silly doctors in now and can hope to get some answers finally to this 15 year ordeal of feeling like a hypochondriac!!

I found your site through the comment you left on Randy Alcorn's blog. I have fibromyalgia and have been very touched and encouraged with all you have shared here. At the end of your "A Day in the Life..." you wrote, " I can go to sleep knowing that I worked hard, and I completed the tasks to which God called me today." This has been what God is trying to help me understand. I often have my own list of what I should do and it contradicts God's list. Thank you for your vulnerability here and the links list with my chronic issue....I'm going there now!
