Dublin Bus introduced route 128 on Monday 19th November 2007 from Rathmines to Clongriffan via the City Centre.

This new cross city route, connecting the north & south sides of Dublin serving the ever growing Clare Hall, Coolock, Fairview and into Dublin City Centre where it serves Connolly & Tara Street DART stations.
The 128 continues onto Burgh Quay and around to College Street where it then proceeds to St. Stephens Green (as per route 15ab etc) to Rathmines road, heading for Palmerston Park where it terminates.
Route 128 is operated using Harristowns fully wheelchair accessible class buses, mainly AV & AX.

Below Volvo Olympian RV587 is operating an extra departure on route 128 during rush hour to help take the pressure off the timetabled departure.

RV587, delivered new to Dublin Bus in 1999, is kept in an excellant condition at Harristown Garage.



Palmerston Park is also served by routes 14A and 142.

Journey time is approx 60 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
