         Craig Hansen is a 22 year old pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. Craig came out of St. Johns college and was drafted by the Red Sox in the first round. He then became the first baseball plater in Red Sox history to make his MLB debut he same year he was drafted.  He made his MLB debut on September 19, 2005. He made a good impression striking out two of the three batters he had faced. The Red Sox signed Craig to a four year deal before the 2006 spring training so he was added to the 40-man roster. Hansen became on official MLB rookie on July 17, 2006 and is set to be called back up to the Red Sox in September when rosters are allowed to expand. Craig got recalled on setember 5 ,2006 and is now with the Red Sox.
