DECOUPAGE  PROJECT 

This month's project comes with a tutorial for traditional decoupage and gives you the chance to 'Try before you buy'. 

This project features one of the images from CD 23. You can find the details of this collection by CLICKING HERE 

The project comes in pdf format and you will need Adobe reader installed on your pc to use it. This is quite a large file and depending on your connection may take a few seconds to open.

STEP ONE

Click on the photo above to download the project. All pages comes with pictures to help you along. The only tools you will need are a craft knife, embossing tool (optional) and a tube of silicon adhesive. Print the pages you require, the last page will give you 6 copies of the above picture and this should be printed onto matt or satin photo paper.

 STEP TWO

As all instructions are part of this project you won't really need me to write any more steps here but if you'd like to email me pictures of your finished work for inclusion into the gallery then please feel free to do so.

CHRISTMAS CARD  PROJECT 

This month's project comes from one of our current collections and gives you the chance to try before you buy.

You will need to have WinRar or WinZip installed on your computer in order to use these free projects as the files come in a compressed format. 

STEP ONE

All of the pages have been designed to print on A4 sized paper so you won't need to fiddle around with any resizing. Print off the pages that you require.

 STEP TWO

Get a sheet of A4 card and fold in half so you have an A5 sized blank card ready to decorate.

Cut out the topper(s) and papers as required to make your card, the one shown here is just an example of one layout.

STEP THREE

Once you've decided on your layout, attach the papers and topper(s) in the desired position.

Then attach the insert down the centre of the inside of the card.

 OPTIONAL STEP

Once you have created your card, feel free to email me a photo for inclusion into the Customers Gallery

PET MONTH PROJECT 

This month's project is to remind everyone that 5th April - 5th May is National Pet Month.

My own pet, Benji is featured on this card.

With this project you will find toppers in a range of sizes to suit all card shapes and sizes plus a variety of backing papers and a fully matched insert. To download the project, simply click on the card and the download will start. 

You will need to have WinRar or WinZip installed on your computer to be able to open the file. When the download page opens, click on 'Save'.

National Pet Month is more than just looking out for your own pet but also giving consideration for the poor animals in shelters across the country. All donations to local shelters will be welcomed.

SPRING FLOWERS PROJECT 

This pretty floral Card is just perfect now that Spring is on it's way and so quick and easy to make.

All of the papers that you will need to create this pretty card can be downloaded by clicking on the picture. The file contains, backing papers, toppers and layers so you can decoupage the image and a matching insert. 

You will need to have WinRar or WinZip installed on your computer to be able to open the file. When the download page opens, click on 'Save'.

STEP ONE

 STEP TWO

Cut out the four toppers. You will need one as a base, the other 3 will be used for cutting the borders and flowers to layer up creating a 3D decoupage effect.

STEP THREE

Once you have assembled your topper set aside.

Cut the backing papers to the sizes and shapes required, you can use your own imagination, the card above is just an example.

 STEP FOUR

Attach the backing papers using peel off sticker strips and then place the topper and sentiment where desired.

Using either double sided tape or a glue stick, attach the insert to the inside of the card near the centre.

BUTTERFLY CARD PROJECT 

This lovely little Butterfly Card is so easy to make and looks great when decorated and embellished with glitter and 3D crystal stickers.

All of the papers that you will need to create this pretty card can be downloaded by clicking on the picture. The file contains, backing papers, toppers and layers so you can decoupage the image and a matching insert.

 STEP TWO

Cut out the toppers and backing papers to the shape and size you require.

STEP THREE

Attach the papers to your blank card and assemble the topper.

To give depth to your card, use 3D foam pads to attach the topper to your card.

 STEP FOUR

Fold the insert in half and cut about half inch smaller than the size of your card.

Using either double sided tape or a glue stick, attach the insert to the inside of the card near the centre.

EXPLODING BOX PROJECT 

This lovely little 'Exploding Box' is so easy to make and looks great when decorated and embellished with ribbons, glitter and 3D crystal stickers.

To have a go at making your own 'Exploding Box' simply click on the image to the left to get each template in a compressed file.

You will need to have WinRar or WinZip installed on your computer to be able to open the file. When the download page opens, click on 'Save' and save to a place that you'll remember.

STEP ONE

Once you have the file open, you will need to print each of the pages onto thick paper or thin card.

Cut out each of the images. Once you have all four images all cut out, make the folds along the lines, the printed side should be on the inside of the finished box.

 STEP TWO

Start decorating each layer with glitter, 3D pens, peel offs, Crystal stickers, gems or whatever you fancy.

For the box lid, fold and glue each tab to the inside of the adjacent box lip. Once dry, decorate to match the layers inside.

STEP THREE

Now that you have all of your layers and lid decorated, it's time to put it all together. Using a glue stick, stick layers together at the centre only. Leave to dry.

 STEP FOUR

Find a suitable gift to put inside the finished box, fold up and place the lid on top. Now wrap some ribbon around it and finish off with a bow or small tag... and just watch the look on the recipients face when they open it.
